House of the Flight of Birds

Project developed in Azores, Portugal (2010).

Key aspects: Aesthetic and functional design.

Brief: The weather in the Azores is often unpredictable and can sometimes be harsh, with heavy rain. This house is designed to adapt to the climate instead of resisting it. Its main structure resembles the wings of a large bird. A bold red wall shields the patios and courtyards from harsh weather, enabling the residents to enjoy outdoor living even during strong winds.

Green Concept House by YANG Design

Project developed in Beijing, China (2018).

Key aspects: Zero-waste, self-sustaining home of the future.

Brief: The Green Concept House is a forward-looking design that imagines a home where sustainable technologies are seamlessly integrated into daily living, resulting in a zero-waste, fully self-sufficient residence. Its design incorporates advanced systems that repurpose excess household energy to supply water, lighting, and power for growing plants inside the home, effectively turning it into a functional greenhouse. Through a technology system on the mobile phone, the resident can control the growth of the plants.

Infinitus Plaza

Project developed in Guangzhou, China (2021).

Key aspects: integration of innovative design, construction technologies and sustainable practices to create a unified workspace that strengthens communication and collaboration across departments.

Brief: This collaborative global headqueartes combines workspaces that foster connectivity, creativity, and innovation. It also houses research labs, safety testing facilities, and a learning center for events. Interconnecting bridges feature flexible communal areas—such as gyms, relaxation zones, and cafes —promoting employee well-being while linking offices to nearby shopping and dining spaces.

Mohammed Bin Rashid Library

Project developed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (2022).

Key aspects: gathering space to unify the community, serving educational and touristic demand.

Located in Dubai’s Al Jaddaf, this modern library is designed to foster a culture of reading in the UAE. Inspired by the traditional rehl bookstand, it combines sustainable design with advanced technology. The library features themed sections, cultural spaces, and community facilities, with eco-friendly systems that improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
